Barry grew up in Johannesburg and knew from a young age that he had a true love for the African bush yet it was only after spending several years in the corporate world in Europe, followed by a two year sabbatical of traveling around different parts of the world, that the hunger to move back to Africa took over. Faced with the choice of either moving to the city and back into corporate or pursuing a life long dream of working in the bush; it was a no-brainer. Soon after he realized this dream and became part of the Londolozi Ranger team.
