Tom Imrie

Field Guide

Tom is the voice of wisdom, reason and logic on the Londolozi Ranging Team, as well as all the other facets that go hand-in-hand with being an intellectual far beyond the realm of most mere mortals. There are very few subjects under the sun that Tom has not read something about, and there is unlikely any other guide on the African continent that brings such a depth of knowledge to the wilderness experiences that he conducts.
Tom's skills were recognised at a national level in 2013 when he was awarded the Africa Direct Safari Guide of the Year Award, and he continues to enthral guests and other rangers alike with his insights and passion.
Tom's skill as a writer has been well known for years, and we are hoping to coerce him into producing more of his funny and insightful pieces for the Londolozi Blog.
