Ashleigh grew up in a small mining town in the Northern Cape and then moved on to Stellenbosch for High School and University. She studied BA Social Dynamics (Politics, Philosophy and English) and after completing her degree went overseas to Taiwan to teach English for two years. After deciding to return back home in the pursuit of exploring a more African identity, she came to Londolozi for the Cubs Den position to continue working with kids. This position has since evolved into a camp management position. Camp Managing allows Ash to engage with people and feel fulfilled on a daily basis as she loves connecting and interacting with guests.
