Shannon, thank you for sharing your thought about Londolozi. It truly is a village of people working and helping each other each day creating a feeling which embodies the experience called Londolozi.

It truly is a very special place, thank you William!

A really nice blog Shannon. Londolozi truly is an amazing and magical place where everyone is family. Thank you for sharing – thoroughly enjoyed reading it and love all the pics.

Thank you Leonie, It is very special to be apart of this family.

There is just one thing to say: Londolozi is a wonderful place! And I think that nowhere else in the world do guests get such warm welcomes as in southern and eastern Africa.

I couldn’t agree with you more Christa!

Shannon you are so privileged to have a Londolozi family that take care of their environment and take pride in what they do. It shows in the end by having a world renowned safari place to have a holiday of a lifetime. I’m sure all the Rangers, Trackers, staff at the 4 different camps and all village staff are one great family, and one team that gets everything done professionally.

Thank you Valmai, we really are one great family and I feel so lucky to find myself living and working with such special people!

I loved visiting the creche in the early 20s. Spent some mornings with them and Di yburgh. Great memories.

What a special memory Judith, the creche is such a happy place.

Reading your blog post one can just feel the love and community that is Londolozi!! Can’t wait to see you all again soon 😊

I am so glad you feel that way Kara, thank you. We can’t wait to welcome you back!

Shannon, thank you for highlighting the team behind the Londolozi experience. As you stated, Ubuntu is the driving force and that is expressed during every moment of one’s stay in the property. I will be returning next year and look forward to taking my time exploring the Freedom Walk, and to spend more time in the village. I hope you continue to enjoy each and every day.

The Village walk is definitely a “must do” on your next visit. We are so looking forward to welcoming you home Denise.

Really lovely blog, Shannon, that captures the spirit and feeling of the Londolozi family! It’s hard to say enough wonderful things about the people, the smiles, the land, 640 lanterns (!!), the wildlife, the vehicles and so much more. That’s in large part why we’ve journeyed there 6 times from San Francisco and will see you again in 2023!

Thank you Mary, Londolozi is such a wonderful place and the magical people who live and work here are so inspiring. We look forward to having you here again next year for your 7th visit!

Taking the Village Walk eah time we visit is part of our ritual. I wish all guests would opt to participate!
Great picture of Cry!!!!

That is so wonderful to hear Vin, I am so glad you have explored our village and we are looking forward to many more village walks with you!

I am sad to say I missed out on the village walk when there in May, but I will be back in May, 2024, and I won’t miss the village visit on the next trip. Seeing how everyone works together to create such magic is quite inspirational. It took me a while to get to Londolozi due to Covid postponements, so I followed the virtual safaris, read blog posts, and looked at the website countless times before actually arriving. Nothing in print or online could have prepared me for how much I would love Londolozi. Can’t wait to come back. It feels like home.
