Congratulations to all the new rangers. What a wonderful thing to be able to work at Londolozi.

Thank you very much, Christa! Feel very honored to be part of the Londolozi team!

Congratulations on joining a fantastic team at the legendary Londolozi.

Shadrack ,Many Congratulations, we met when he was a brilliant Tracker. Congratulations to all the new Rangers

Thanks very much, Jeff and Susan!

Hi Kate, I had to smile at you all chasing the chasers! Leopards do have a hard life with all predators robbing them… only cheetah are in a worse situation I suppose. From the great commotion to the relax of lions resting, giraffe and buffalo gathering for the night, great. Beautiful lion picture

Hi Francesca, it really was an incredible afternoon and one that was so unexpected, especially for the group of us trainees at the time! Every morning and afternoon in the bush is different and we never quite know what to expect, which is what makes the bush so exciting!

Congratulations Kate on becoming a ranger. What a great day of cats and dogs you described, thanks for sharing a part of your life.

Thank you very much, William!

Congratulations on completing the tough course and much luck in your guiding career ahead! I’m looking forward to meeting you next year!

Thank you very much Mary Beth! Looking forward to meeting you next year!

Congratulations to all of you new rangers, and a special welcome to my friend, Shadrack, whom I met a few years ago when he was the tracker on my vehicle. You all have worked hard to achieve your goal of working for the incredible Londolozi family and I know each day will bring you new rewards and memories. I’ll be returning next year and perhaps meet some or all of you in the course of my stay. Cheers to great sightings!!

Thank you Denise, and for your best wishes! Looking forward to meeting you on your next visit.

Great blog. Londolozi rangers ( and trackers!) are very special people.

Thanks Judith!

Congrats to all the new Rangers. You are so privileged to work at Londolozi and to be able to see these beautiful animals every day. Good luck for your future career and may you enjoy every moment in the bush.

Thank you Valmai!

Congratulations to you all on completing your training. You won’t remember me, but I met you all when I was there in February and you were with Chris Taylor. I was delighted to see Shadrack, as I knew him from when he was a tracker with Alfie. Hopefully I’ll see at least some of you again when I’m back at Founders in November.

Thank you Suzanne! Looking forward to meeting you properly on your next trip later this year!

Congrats to you and all the other new rangers Kate! Sounds like your decision to change everything up is really paying off!!

Thank you very much, Paul!

What an incredible story!! I loved hearing Kate’s stories first hand about the amount of training involved to become a ranger at Londolozi! We love her passion! Great article, Kate!!

Thanks very much, Karen. It was such a special few days being your guide. We are looking forward to your and Gordon’s next visit!

Congratulations you are living a dream!

Thank you Kara!

Hi Kate, I read your story with much envy. If I had made the right decisions 5+ decades ago I, too, would have lived your current experiences. My destiny was/is to be more mundane (read: boring). However, I did learn to ski. Enjoy!

Thank you very much, Ron!
