At Londolozi, nature unfolds in breathtaking ways every single day. While I may be a bit biased, I can’t help but be in awe of the incredible scenes that emerge from our corner of the world. From stunning sunsets to rare wildlife moments and sweeping landscapes, our team at Londolozi has an exceptional talent for capturing these passing moments of beauty. Leopards and leadwoods are a classic combination here at Londolozi, consistently resulting in some of the most exquisite photographs. This particular shot is one of my favourites, perfectly capturing the beauty and elegance of both the leopard and the branches of the leadwood tree.
2. A Portrait of a Male Lion
There’s an undeniable power in the presence of a male lion. This portrait stands out to me because it highlights not only the strength but also the beauty of this magnificent big cat.
3. A Leopard Yawn
Here’s another one of my favourite leopard-in-a-leadwood shots, capturing a leopard mid-yawn, perfectly perched on a branch.
4. Giraffe’s Crossing Paths
This moment is a beautiful composition of two giraffes crossing paths, their long necks and graceful movements creating a natural work of art.
5. A Portrait of a Leopard
This classic leopard portrait showcases all the incredible features of these magnificent creatures. From the intricate patterns of its coat to the striking texture of its fur and its piercing gaze, this image perfectly captures the essence of the leopard’s beauty and mystery.
6. Vervet Monkey in a Leadwood
While monkeys are often associated with playful mischief, this image contrasts that beautifully. It features a vervet monkey, poised and graceful, perched on a leadwood branch.

This one always brings a smile to my face. A leopard fast asleep in the fork of a tree—have you ever seen a more serene sight?

I always look forward to seeing cheetahs at Londolozi. This shot captures a stunning moment of a cheetah with her two cubs.

A simple yet stunning shot of a line of giraffes moving gracefully across the plains.

Hi Megan, it’s a very hard choice, they are all masterworks. The Othawa male lion stuck me immediately. He was and his image still is an absolutely unique handsome male, what a shame he found his final demise against the Birmingham brothers. The lead wood tree is superb. We are all so small in front of such vegetql architecture, and leopards are among the few privileged animals to climb it and rest on it, lovely pictures of both. The Ntomi male is unmissable. All very impressive pictures anyway.
