Harleigh was born in Surrey, England. She moved to Johannesburg at the age of 7 where the family frequented the Kruger Park at every chance they could.
Harleigh's love for nature resulted in her studying a BSc in Zoology and Physiology in Cape Town. After university she spent the next 6 years travelling around the world where she had a number of interesting jobs, such as working for Sea Shepherd in Western Africa and working as a veterinary technician in the States. However, she always knew she would end up in the bush and Londolozi is the place where her passions for conservation, hospitality and sustainability meet.
