Dan developed his love for the African bush whilst growing up on a family run farm in the Kwa-Zulu Natal midlands. Growing up in the bushveld he was surrounded by wildlife and finds his passion in what nature has to offer. After completing his schooling in Kwazulu/Natal he studied for a BComm. Marketing degree at Stellenbosch University. Upon completing his studies, Dan swooped up the opportunity to train as a ranger at Londolozi. His love for people and wildlife has contributed to him currently pursuing his dream of growing as nature guide.
