here’s hoping to no shortage of male lion sightings! Nice report, Keagan🙂

I am so excited to hear that this gorgeous male is sticking around! I was so impressed with him when I watched Sean’s video. It will be very interesting to watch what happens with all these lions over the next months.
I’ll be at Londolozi next week with my family – really hoping for a sighting of the stunning Skorro Young Male, although I know it all depends on what each day brings. Can’t wait to be there and soak in Londolozi life!

Fantastic lion! At first moment I thought he was smiling ear to ear… the pictures show an almost smiling, very relaxed animal, a real poser! Hopefully he will survive the future fight, he is a cool guy!

Absolutely awesome article on this young king. I have had the privilege of following him for a few years now. He has definitely had lots of challenges but he has been ready for every one. I so would love to see him with a territory and a Pride on his own. Our beautiful Buddy Jr ( nickname as he looks exactly like one of his dads Buddy) I am so looking forward to his future. Thank you for this wonderful and informative article on him.

Very exciting. I remember the video from earlier with him roaring and the Black Dam boys silently approaching him. He does look very impressive but I think theirs too much competition around there for him as a lone male. We’ll see how he gets on, looking forward to find out.

I remember the Orpen Males, one ended up having some sort of horrible infection that ballooned up his mouth and I think he couldn’t eat in the end. Very sad.

Hi Keagan. Love your story, very well described. We can feel the excitement. Skorro truly is powerful. Hope you and Ray are well, we miss you

Very exciting news Keagan about the dynamics of the lions. The Skorro male is a stunning male and I am waiting in anticipation for the outcome of the dynamics of all involved. So many different males on Londolozi, it is going to be a battle among them.

I had looked forward to seeing the very handsome Othawa male during our planned 2020 and 2021 trips but Covid intervened. Hopeful that I’ll view the Skorro young male during our upcoming August visit.

Keagan, thank you for the blog on the Skorro male. He appears to be in magnificent condition. It will indeed be interesting to see which lions survive and thrive over the nest few months.

Hello Keagan, So interesting to read about The Skorro Young Male! I wish him all luck in the world! He is brave and bold. I remember The Ottawa Male… He was fantastic but he also took a huge risk also very bold and brave… I miss him! He was so beautiful and a fantastic lion!
It will be very interesting to follow your reports of The Skorro Young Male. I hope he will make it and survive and create an own family together with Talamti female. Thank you for sharing!

Keagan, I can feel the sense of excitement by the team since this new male has made his presence known. His size, looks and demeanor bring back my vivid memories of both the Birmingham males and the Othawa. Since he was seen mating with one of the Talamati females, it does appear that he is not looking to leave and my only fear is that he will be met with the same demise as Othawa, who also was pushing his boundaries. Needless to say, the next few weeks/months should be exciting and I’ll be looking for continued updates.

A really beautiful and impressive young male taking on this challenge. Let’s hope that he will be able to cut out a territory for himself without being injured too badly by the competitors.
Looking forward to hearing more about him. And I hope that I might see him soon.

I live this guys moxie!!! It will be exciting to see what unfolds for this, dare I say, audacious lion. Rooting for him, and the equally sassy young cheetah who seems to be hanging around, and will stay tuned for updates!

Sure would be nice if he would link up with Nkuhuma or Tumbela males to form a coalition. So many male lions moving around which makes it so hard for females to raise cubs.

Keagan, We think the Skorro male and Tsalala female should meet up! They both probably need the company! 😉
