Any New Updates on Hosana the Leopard?

James, some great photos this week and an interesting variety from the somewhat iridescent crocodile to the Nhlanguleni female with her cubs. Given that the Flat Rock male has been busy mating with the 3 local females, and one has given birth, I would suspect the other two could also give birth in the next couple of months. Perhaps my trip there at the end of March will fulfill my bucket list item to see leopard cubs. On vera……..

Keep those leopard cubs safe James. One of the few un-obtained goals for us at Londolozi is to have such a sighting. I’m assuming these are the only cubs on the property right now that we know of?

Hhi Phil,
As far as we know, yes, although the Nkoveni female may have dropped as well, we’re just waiting to confirm…

Nhulanguleni’s new cubbies are adorable! Are they presumed to be Flat Rock’s offspring? How are Nkuwa and Finfoot doing?

These are spectacular photos! I wouldnt give up on the lioness just yet. Amber eyes of the Nkuhumas mated it seems 20x before she became pregnant.

The brilliant color of this collection of pictures is spectacular! Out of everything, I just think it is so cute how the cubs take to playing with their Mama’s tail! (not that they have much more to play with,.. 🙂 ) – Most domesticated cats swat at their “cat-mate” when their tail gets nabbed out of fun.
And the mini-wave. What a captured moment! So much to be said for this week’s pictures. What a morning treat.

Wonderful images this week, James. On several you had an amazing number of hits to save. I can see why. You do incredible work….whether it’s your photography or excellent writing.

Great to see more leopard cubs! Interesting that one of the Ntsevu females has yet to conceive. James, do you think there is some biological or hormonal affect that is telling her the Pride’s capacity and territory can’t support more lions or something to that affect? Also wondering if the Ndzandzeni Female has cubs? Glad to see the Nhlanguleni female has a new litter!

An incredible set of photos this week, from the woodland kingfisher to the Styx Pride and the crocodiles!!

That’s amazing to hear about the Nhlanguleni Females new litter!!
