Shannon, What a great story! We had no idea that these products were so innovative and we look forward to seeing them in person on our next visit!

LOVE this!!! So inspiring and personally thankful 🙂

Hi Shannon, what a wonderful way to innovate the plastic bottles. I had no idea that plastic bottles could be used to make such beautiful bags and other products. Two families living their dream and making sure that nothing goes waisted is remarkable

I’ve enjoyed padding around in the slippers from my room during a number of visits. Thanks for sharing the full story, Shannon! And here in the US, I buy bags and shoes from a company that does the same – knit fabric from plastic water bottles. They’re called Rothy’s, a local brand near where I live in the San Francisco area and now nationwide. We’re all doing good things for the environment!

Hi Shannon, a great second life to plastic! Beautiful items and pictures… the sunset the Tinxyia female and the elephants drinking in that special golden light most of all are awesome. Thank you for this encouraging rendering and transformation in good, beautiful reality…

What a wonderful idea to make all these lovely items from old plastic bottles.
So far I have thought that only the slippers were made from the bottles but there is such a beautiful variety of products.
I will certainly have a look at them next time.

Shannon, thanks so much for highlighting this amazing company. I’ve enjoyed using their products found in my suite as well as seeing a varied array of items found in the Living Boutique. What these sisters have done to counteract the problem of what happens to used plastic bottles is nothing short of genius. They are definitely a brand that fits the Londolozi ethos.

Absolutely brilliant! The biggest problem with recycling has always been that there is no money to be made, and you have found a way not only to recycle plastic bottles but also to provide employment.

Words cannot describe this amazing contribution to Mother Earth……absolutely fantastic!
