At Londolozi we specialize in freshly squeezed juices. The Londolozi kitchen is fortunate to have a seriously hot juice squeezer, however, you can use a high speed blender for the softer fruits eg. Melons, pineapples etc, should you wish to make your own fresh juice at home.
The humble Carrot, is a root vegetable that is actually a part of the parsley family. Carrots provide complete nutrition to the body. Carrots are a fabulous source of fiber, Vitamin B1, B2, B6, C, K, Biotin, Potassium.
Carrots are full of a nutrient called Potash Succinate which is very important to the circulative system. They will lower your blood pressure and your chances of getting heart disease. Drinking one glass of carrot juice a day will give you all the energy you need to get through it! It will also help cleanse your colon and provide your bodies with the antibodies it needs.
With the addition of Apples, Celery and Ginger, this juice is most definitely the one to start your day with!
To garnish the glass, slice a baby carrot down the middle and slide it onto the glass, or use a large carrot stick to place inside the glass.
**Anna’s Tip – Never leave Carrot Juice to sit – drink it immediately to gain from its nutritional values**
