Wow an incredible week. Great pics. Love the Birmingham male.

Good pictures this week Paul. Birmingham male and Bull Elephant look especially regal

Looks like it was a great week! Is it possible the Ntsevu lioness that was mating with the Birmingham male has cubs that are old enough for her to become pregnant again, or is it likely that after all this time with them she still hasn’t had any cubs yet? I thought all of them had had cubs already, but correct me if I’m wrong. Maybe a simpler way to ask is how old do the cubs need to be for the mother to go back into oestrous?

Terrific TWIP! I cannot seem to pick my favorite photo! I really like the Cape buffalo shot, the cheetah in the golden light, the leopard that disappears in that B&W of her in the tree, and the elephant who IMHO is king of the African bush. All are good pics though! Thanks for sharing!

Some cracking photos from this week in pictures, but the winner has to be the lion cub.

Again, many thank yous for today’s Week in Pictures which I always look forward to.

Hi Paul. How is the eye looking of the Hukumuri leopard? It looks like the eye is still there, but does it seem he will be permanently blinded in that eye?
Also, what is the status of the injured Birmingham male lion? What exactly is wrong with him and do you see him being able to recover from this and being as strong as his brothers are now?

A Birmingham male update blog is needed for sure 🙂

Great blog to end the week, Paul! Love the photo and story about the Flat Rock male. And the photo of the lone buffalo bull is impressive. Thanks!

Paul, great photos this week. What sightings you saw. I can imagine how excited you were to see the leopard staring at lions, the cheetah kill and the wild dogs kill – 😮

The buffalo herd drinking if a great shot!

Amazing photos, that image of the Flat Rock Male is almost in perfect symmetry!! Can’t wait to read that blog about the cheetah hunt!!

LOVE the wild dog portrait and the ground level shot of the leopard st the beginning!

Amazing selection of photos Paul! How far into Londolozi has Hukumuri pushed? And glad to see the Tsalala lioness and her three cubs are still doing well!

All superb portraits of the amazing wildlife in Londolozi! Great work, Paul!

What a week you had. All in all great images, especially the cub and bull elephant. Loved the anecdote about the Flat Rock male watching the lions mating- if only there was a mind reading teleprinter!

Breath taking photography, just loved it..
