Stunning pics Dean. Love the Tatowa young male. Great capture of the 3 Birmingham males and the Zebra. And that once in a life time sighting, the pangolin.

Thank you Marinda, appreciate the comments.

Well done, Dean. A nice beginning to the new year and to your career.

Thanks Dave, glad you enjoyed them.

Great shots, Dean! I particularly loved the three male lions, but also the beautiful leopard photos! The pangolin photo was amazing! That tongue!!! I use Canon cameras too. There are so many things to learn, but the results make it worthwhile! You have made a great start!

Loved working with Canon, very user friendly. The learning never stops but that is the exciting part.

Wow Frank. You’re clearly already a gifted wildlife photographer. I look forward to seeing a lot more of your work.

Sorry Dean. Frank sitting next to me!

Don’t worry Gloria, many of my colleagues call me Frank anyways. Thank you so much for the kind words.

The 2 pangolins and the 3 male lions… impressive pictures!

Thank you Valentina, both hard to come by. Was super lucky

What a memorable TWIP, Dean! And that pangolin shot – amazing! Thank you.

Thank you so much Mary Beth. Just happy you enjoyed it.

Great framing of the oxpecker James, in the curve of the very interesting buffalo horn. And the three Birmingham males lined up like that. I expect them to be sporting top hats and canes and do a chorus line dance!

Hi Michael, thanks for the comment. yes the three males sighting was unique to say the least. The oxpecker is one of my favourites.

Hi Dean. For someone who has fairly recently bought a camera, some of the pics in this group were really excellent! As you say – the Pangolin Mom and Baby are unique – especially when one adds that tongue! Have taken quite a few of these photos as Screensavers. I may add that our guests quite often just ignore us and sit and watch the Screensavers I have going round and round. They are not being rude. They are just fascinated. Most of my pics are from Londolozi because we get their blog every day. Well done, Dean. Keep them coming. Wendy M

Hi Wendy, thank you for that wonderful comment. It is amazing the power an image has; screensaver or printed. Happy you get to enjoy them daily now.

Oh Dean, the Pangolin & baby take 1st prize & the Birmingham Boys a good 2nd place & the rest all stunning. Thank you for my Friday fix. Have a great weekend & Happy New Year 🙂

Happy New Year to you too Wendy. Yes seems like those two images are a clear favourite. Thak you for the lovely comment.

Wonderful pictures, Dean. You certainly struck the jackpot with the pangolin and pup, that must be a once in a lifetime sighting. I especially love the ones of the Tatowa female and young male; does anyone know what happened to her daughter from the same litter?

So much power AND peace with the Elephant walking through the mud …..

Hi Karl, couldn’t have said it better myself.

Well Dean for your first time blogging and also new to the photographic world, you did a remarkable job! So many surberb images and a few unusual….like that incredibly long tongue! Great job and am looking forward to your future posts.

Thank you Joanne, unusual sometimes catches the eye more. Glad you enjoyed.

Beautiful and inspiring photos that make me yearn to visit Londolozi.

Thank you Cynthia. Look forward to that visit.

Well for a beginner you have captured some great images!! One of my favorites is the Ndzanzeni male that I had the fortune of viewing in addition to the Birmingham males. Continued success and wonderful adventures in Londolozi.

Thank you for the comment Denise. Ndzanzeni young male has provided some great viewing experience.

Might be the best Pangolin picture I’ve ever seen. 0-2 on Pangolins, but something tells me Londolozi will beckon me to come again.

Wow Phil, thank you for that. Really means a lot.

Fabulous pic of the pangolins! Congratulations.
