lucky you !

How awesome to see blue eyes, little spots and very wobbly legs and bodies–times five!!!

Truly special I must admit.

What a truly divine safari experience! But how in the world does a lioness successfully feed 5 cubs with 4 teats? Seems like one cub will always miss out.

What a precious, precious sighting. Very special. Thank you for sharing.

Great pictures and video of this sighting with the lioness and her cubs. Wishing her success in raising her cubs.

Such exciting sightings! Seeing a lioness or leopard carry her offspring in her mouth is a 10 out of 10 event in my mind, one that I hope to experience in the future! Thanks for the video.

Totally agree! I have a remarkable photo of a female leopard carrying a cub in her mouth on the open road.

I hope you are able to experience it too, Mary! It was a truly special moment.

How absolutely amazing !!!! And 5 Cubs!
Wishing the new family all of the strength and good luck they need to survive! 5 Cubs, still can’t believe it❣️

I’ve only just come to grips with it now! As i said – I had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming!

Wow – you certainly hit the jackpot! What an astonishing experience that must have been.

It really was, thank you Suzanne.

What a wonderful sight to behold Chris, five gorgeous cubs playing and suckling on Mum …couldn’t have been a better day as you say !!! 🙏🏻💗💗💗 just super.

Probably my best day in the bush to date!

I’m sure it was Robert..so sorry I mistook you for Chris !

That was a brilliant sighting. The cubs are so tiny and I commend you on giving space to the lioness so she can continue to protect them c

Thank you, Denise. We must constantly remind ourselves that we are merely observers – we need to respect their space.

Remarkable video……the interaction among the cubs is just priceless to watch! Too cute for words! Thanks so very much for your perseverance and patience and sharing.

It’s a pleasure, Linda. I’m glad you enjoyed it!

A wonderful experience for your guests

How wonderful! Five!! Can’t wait to see more as they grow and hopefully see them in person in October.

Fingers crossed!

Hi Robert! Any idea if this is a lioness who has mated with the Avoca Males (Northern) as well as the Birminghams or do you believe these are Birmingham cubs?

Hi Michael, I believe that these cubs belong to the Birmingham males.

I am overwhelmed by the sight of these 5 little cubs, that are so precious. Those blue eyes are beautiful and the little legs are stll unsteady. Hope to see the leopard cubs soon as well.

I hope to see leopard cubs soon as well, don’t we all!

Loved the short video of the Cubs wobbling walking out…
Wish there was more!

Unfortunately the cubs usually remain in very concealed thickets, making it hard to see them clearly wobbling about – we got lucky this time!

In addition to guides/trackers, it is every guest’s dream to view baby animals-especially within the cat family. Thank you for providing us with such wonderful video and photos!!

You’re welcome, Denise! I’m glad you enjoyed them.

What an awesome sighting Rob, to see them so young – thanks for sharing your experience & great video!

You’re welcome, Shirley!
