There was much excitement in the air as Easter arrived once again, and we gathered as we do every year on the Varty Camp lawn to celebrate this cherished tradition. Beneath the ancient trees, a lush green wonderland came to life — a beautiful setup inspired by the elements of nature.
With laughter and chatter carrying through the morning and the sweet scent of chocolate lingering in the air, Easter 2025 at Londolozi was a joyful celebration of friends, family, and the beauty of nature.
As is tradition at Londolozi, a market-style Easter brunch was beautifully set up, with a variety of stands offering delicious Easter treats for all to enjoy.
Here are a few moments captured from this wonderful celebration…

The Varty Camp lawn was transformed into an enchanting space under the trees for our annual Easter brunch, inspired by the colours and textures of the bushveld.

Deep emerald greens formed the foundation of the setting, accented with shimmering touches of gold that caught the light beautifully. Handcrafted rabbits, made by local artisans, added a charming touch, perfectly complementing the natural decor with their natural wood tones.

The butler team stands ready on the Varty Camp lawn, prepared to welcome guests with a delicious Easter brunch.

A green, magical space — the lush tones of the Varty Camp lawn perfectly complemented our Easter setup.

Warm, golden jaffles filled with bacon, egg, and cheese—just one of the delicious highlights on the Easter brunch menu.

At the Easter Squeeze Station, guests enjoyed freshly squeezed Orange Juice, Carrot & Apple Ginger Juice, Homemade Lemonade, and Refreshing Mint & Lemon Water.

The Emerald Bunny bar, featuring a champagne and Bloody Mary station, provided the perfect way to kickstart the celebration.
As we end another beautiful Easter celebration at Londolozi, we wish you a peaceful and joyous Easter season filled with renewal and love!

Thank you, Christa. It means a lot to know that the tradition continues to bring you joy!
Celebrating Easter at Londolozi is always special and once you’ve completed the morning drive that evolves into the most magical brunch, you will never forget the experience. Easter 2021 introduced me to so many wonderful people and the transformation of the Varty Lawn into a garden paradise, but one of the highlights was experiencing my first Jaffle – the gooey cheese paired with delicious tomatoes and basil as well as the sumptuous bacon, egg and cheese combo. I was hooked and now there’s not a Jaffle that I don’t want to meet. Thanks JS, you know who you are. But the brunch is so much more than the market stalls set up to satisfy every taste – it’s a time to celebrate. For the northern hemisphere the beginning of spring and for South Africa, looking forward to winter and the beauty that unfolds in the months ahead. It is a rebirth, from one season to another no matter where you live and there is joy to be experienced in the days ahead.
Denise, your words capture the spirit of the day so well. And yes, once you’ve had a proper Jaffle, there’s no going back!
It’s always a treat to see the creativity behind this annual tradition. It brings back find memories of our first day there, which happened to be Easter.
Chelsea, we’re glad it brought back those memories. What a wonderful way to be introduced to Londolozi.
