All of your suggestions Megan, are perfect ways to find serenity within the Londolozi property. I find most of these aid in my finding the light within myself, the catalyst for relaxing and letting nature guide me to a calmness with no distractions. Unplugging is the best – no tv, radios, phone calls. I admit to bringing a laptop in order to download images to an EHD and then disconnect. I especially like the sunrises and sunsets, especially if we’re near water to enjoy the reflections – they’re truly nature’s gifts to bring earth to life, and then, at the end of the day, put us to sleep.

It’s wonderful to hear how you’ve found serenity and inner light within the beauty of Londolozi, Denise.

Nature does make all the difference when you want to be alone, or just be at peace within. Running water, a river, also has the same effect on a person. Animals have a calming effect on me especially if you are quiet, and you just sit and observe them on their terms in their environment, magical.

Absolutely, Valmai. Nature has a unique way of providing solitude and inner peace.

Megan, how fun to see you and Stoff on the blog two days in a row! Just coming back from staying at the “new” Founders Camp, our peaceful place was watching the sunrise from the new deck… The reflection on the water was so beautiful!

I’m thrilled to hear you enjoyed your stay at the ‘new’ Founders Camp, Micheal & Terri!

Megan, thank you for the reminder about being still and quiet. It is the only certain way I can stay in touch with myself in every moment. Breathing deeply and intentionally also helps me to enjoy each moment.

You’re very welcome, William! Being still and quiet, as well as practicing deep and intentional breathing, are indeed powerful ways to stay in touch with yourself.

Well written indeed. For me personally walking in nature and stargazing gets me ‘quiet’ and still.

Thank you for your kind words, Gawie. Walking in nature and stargazing are wonderful ways to find that sense of quiet and stillness.

Being out in nature is always a wonderful way to calm down, find serenity, unplug oneself from the demands of modern life. And this is especially true of a place like Londolozi.
I recharged my batteries in lovely new Founders Camp. A wonderful 8-days’ stay with wonderful people.

Hello Christa, it’s wonderful to hear that your 8-day stay at the new Founders Camp was such a fantastic experience. It’s a place where you can truly recharge and find that inner peace.
