Megan, Thanks for sharing a gorgeous set of Golden Hour shots! We will hope to see them again on our next visit!

Hi Micheal and Terri, I also hope you see magical sunsets during your next visit!

meagan, the silhouette’s are beautiful, thank you for sharing.

It’s my pleasure, William. I’m thrilled that you enjoyed them.

Most any place within Londolozi is perfect to watch a sunset but I admit I have an affinity for locations with water. First of all, the kaleidoscope of colors in the sunset reflected in the water is mesmerizing, and no two evenings are the same. If I’m lucky, there might be an animal or two, and then there’s the sound of silence, only broken by a bird’s call, the rustle of leaves in a breeze, and if truly fortunate, the call of lions. A gin and tonic adds to the moment of pure happiness!

Hi Denise, how beautifully you’ve captured the essence of watching a sunset at Londolozi!

Megan such stunning images of the sun going down, the colours are mesmerizing. The animals show casing their silhouettes in the stunning background is absolutely beautiful. Here where I stay we can ride up on a mountain and look over the Loskop dam with the sun going down in the back ground. The water is show casing it’s beauty with the sunset in the back ground.

That sounds like a beautiful sunset spot, Valmai!

Beautiful photos, Megan. I think they show that ALL spots at Londolozi are perfect for watching the sunset!

Thank you, Mary Beth! I’m so glad you enjoyed the photos.

I’ve seen lots of glorious sunsets at Londolozi over the years, but the one I shall remember forever was last November. We’d had our sundowners in Marthly, and as we came back to camp we stopped on the causeway to admire a truly stunning sunset. Then 2 large male hippos started fighting in the river! It was too dark by then to get any decent photos, but I’ll never forget the spectacle of these huge males battling by the river’s edge with the sunset behind them, and the noise was incredible.

That sounds incredible, Suzanne!

Absolutely, Ann!

Such a beautiful collection of sunset images.

Thank you very much, Chelsea.

Sunsets beautiful all over the world but bit biased of the sunsets over the Pacific 🙂

Hi Anita, I’m sure a sunset over the Pacific is pure magic.

You need to come see for yourself Megan! We hope to see several sunsets in Londolozi someday!
