How can you explain using words something that can only really be felt, and, in fact, exists in a wordless space of experience? Something that is intangible. An unseen frequency.
Although we know that the Londolozi Effect cannot really be explained or concisely defined – we continue to try and explore this phenomenon through people’s different interpretations and perceptions.
What we have realised is that the Londolozi Effect is not our story to tell – it’s the collection of everyone’s unique journeys.
It’s the small moments at Londolozi, experienced by people from all corners of the globe and from all walks of life, intertwined into a magnificent melting pot of magic. We recently explored what the Londolozi Effect means to the Londolozi Family, and now it’s time to share some of the love letters that we have received from our global family of guests. For those of you who have taken the time to write to us, we can’t thank you enough for your beautiful love letters and voice notes. We have a deep sense of gratitude for you taking part. We are blown away with the beauty and the poetry in which the Londolozi Effect has been conveyed and are so excited to share with you this manifestation:
The love letters inbox is overflowing, and luckily we have a year to share all of your notes. But as a genesis, here are some beautiful snippets from the love letters we have received from you so far:

“The very first time I visited Londolozi (back in the early 80’s) I left a piece of my heart and soul in that beautiful wilderness. In return Londolozi gave to me a piece of its heart and soul to sustain and enrich me. With each visit I feel the same authentic, warm and welcoming embrace and leave charged with renewed energy and a full heart, knowing I simply must return again. There is no doubt in my mind that Londolozi is indeed one of the world’s great energy vortexes – a place to visit when in need of spiritual realigning and healing” ~ Susan Cook, Londolozi Guest

“Londolozi is more than a destination for the wealthy, she is infinitely more than her landscapes and the lifeline of the Sand River that flows through her heart. “It may sound a bit crazy, but I feel I am the best person I can be when I’m at Londolozi. My cheeks are often sore at the end of each day – constant smiling will do that! Londolozi is good people, contentment, excitement and super-duper animals
You’ve assembled a wonderful compilation of “love notes” from some of your guests and I enjoyed reading them – all echoing my own description of the Londolozi Effect. I will send my own to you soon….
My husband and I have been to Londolozi 4 of the most wonderful trips and our favorite place on earth to be. Each time we arrive we are greeted by the Happiest people, who are so full of love and caring for others. To be out in the bush with your guide and tracker is one of the most thrilling, suspenseful ,exhilarating adventures, you just never know what your day may find. “It Is THE BEST”! We too can call it Our Happy Place!
I call it the Londolozi bubble effect. Every time I visit, from my joyful arrival to my tearful departure, I feel like I am in the most wonderful bubble of peace, calm and serenity. The staff work incredibly hard to enable their guests to feel this way, allowing immersison in this glorious place the wildlife call home (and so do I).
