A beautiful and unexpected message each day – something I looked forward to! The animal cards felt like there were literally chosen for me – that’s how well they ‘spoke’ to me 🙂 Thank you for the variation of the guided meditations – each one with its magnificent background sounds of the wild. I felt comforted, curious, and free to explore.
For me this is a new exploration for sure and it is my hope that I can incorporate meditation at the beginning of every day – even when our business begins the reopening process in a few weeks. This wonderful 7 days of Mindfullness has given me such an insight into an area I have never had the time to discover!! The journaling has been awesome , deep and so personal. Honouring my own body to be still with the backdrop of the bush has been inspirational . Especially coming during this lock down has been a huge gift!! for now and going forward!!Thank you for all the input and thought behind this!! Day 6 and 7 were really mind blowingly beautiful!!
Even though some of you may have already completed Part one, you can really begin anywhere – Part one followed by Part Two or Part Two followed by Part One. Part One offers a beautiful, gentle introduction to guided meditation and journaling, while Part Two takes you into the wisdom of the animals that we share this planet with. This 7-day Animal Wisdom Challenge is a journey into your own nature with a series of guided visualization meditations showcasing specific animal wisdom and behaviours, featuring breathwork as a pathway to create internal space in the body. This 7-day journey is a pathway to calm and, in a time of high uncertainty, it helps us find an inner refuge, and gives us an opportunity to remember we are all connected in a shared humanity on a shared planet.
Mindfulness is a powerful practice and allows you to find stillness, to stay present and a chance to take a breath, to pause and to reflect. This inward safari is the second of two gifts from Londolozi to you. We are offering, in solidarity, an opportunity to pause and reflect each day – this time in the wisdom of the animals.
We encourage the Londolozi Global Family to explore this challenge which has been put together with beginners, animal lovers and safari adventurers in mind and designed to be easy and step-by-step. These short meditations and the accompanying reflective work should be approached with a sense of ease and playful open-mindedness, each day will take no more than 30 minutes to complete, and can be done anywhere at your own pace and time.

Each day for 7 days you will receive an email in your inbox with a new set of mindfulness tools to use on this challenge. The types of tools will remain constant throughout, but the content will move and flow as you navigate your own inward safari. Here are some ideas about the tools you will experience:
- A short visualization meditation recording, focusing on a particular animal and what they have to teach us about our own nature
- A journaling exercise for self-reflection
- Wisdom from the animal kingdom by way of an animal oracle card (words kindly borrowed from Chip Richards and Diana Cooper)
- A guided breathwork practice as an introduction to a few new techniques, a short yoga practice to follow along with or a meditative movie to watch…
There is no right or wrong way to go about this challenge. Engage all of your senses by reading, listening, and feeling into each day, and see where the journey takes you. It’s with great excitement that we invite you to join us for this second challenge, 7 days of animal wisdom.
