Staying connected for us previously meant visiting Londolozi, spending time with us in nature and immersing oneself in the wilderness. So when faced with travel restrictions around the world, how do we take you on safari? We invite you to join us on the first-ever inward safari…
This 7 day Mindfulness Challenge is a journey into your own nature with a series of guided visualisation meditations showcasing animal wisdom and featuring internal vision questing. It is a pathway to calm and in a time of high uncertainty it helps us find an inner refuge, and gives us an opportunity to remember we are all connected in a shared humanity on a shared planet.
Mindfulness is a powerful practice and allows you to find stillness, to stay present and a chance to take a breath, to pause and to reflect. This inward safari is a gift from Londolozi to you. We are offering, in solidarity, an opportunity to pause and reflect each day.
We encourage the Londolozi Global Family to explore this challenge which has been put together with beginners, animal lovers and safari adventurers in mind and designed to be easy and step-by-step. These short meditations and the accompanying reflective work should be approached with a sense of ease and playful open-mindedness, each day will take no more than 30 minutes to complete, and can be done anywhere at your own pace and time.
What to expect on this 7-day challenge
Day 1: Introduction (How to Begin)
Day 2: Speak Your Truth
Day 3: Returning to Breath
Day 4: Finding the River
Day 5: Animal Wisdom
Day 6: The Nature of Joy
Day 7: Letting the Body Speak
Each day for 7 days you will receive an email in your inbox with a new set of mindfulness tools to use on this challenge. The types of tools will remain constant throughout, but the content will move and flow as you navigate your own inward safari. Here are some ideas of the tools you will experience:
- A short visualisation meditation recording to build your meditative practice and to connect you back to nature, and your true nature, each day
- A journaling exercise for self-reflection
- Wisdom from the animal kingdom by way of an animal oracle card (words kindly borrowed from Chip Richards)
- A free-printable quote to share with those who may need it or to keep for yourself
There is no right or wrong way to go about this challenge. Engage all of your senses by reading, listening and feeling into each day, and see where the journey takes you. It’s with great excitement that we invite you to join us, on the first of its kind, Londolozi’s 7 Day Mindfulness Inward Safari.

This is a fantastic idea Amanda. It is difficult and probably human nature to want to do something that you are not allowed to do. We can’t wait to get back into the bush. I do love your Instagram stories. Watching it give me the feeling as if I am there on the game drive in nature. Stay save.
Every day I look forward to the news from Londolozi, this sounds like a marvelous way to both enjoy the news as well as perhaps help us all thru the current crisis. Stay safe! Victoria
Amanda, what a beautiful thing you are doing.
This is a fsntastic idea. I think it will help us all in these unusual times.
Thank you for this, we can all use some self reflection. We are all in this together.
Thank you, I think this is a wonderful idea and something that will really help in these difficult times. Stay safe.
How cool is this! I look forward to immersing myself in my daily Londolozi blog as it is. – This is the perfect shift from what is going on around the world. This new presentation is a pathway to the person I used to be, and lost years back, so THANK YOU Amanda! Namaste~
I’m very much looking forward to the journey!
Thanks for making that possible… wonderful idea.
A wonderful idea that is needed more than one realizes. Looking forward to it!
It’s been a few years since we visited, and we are looking forward to a return trip when things settle down, but what a great way to reconnect in the mean time. I look forward to the daily challenge.
I love the dawn chorus – thank you it takes me back to when I lived in South Africa – I shall listen to it as often as possible and try not to miss the beautiful country so much.
The most wonderful way to start the day.
