Was there last May during the drought. Can’t believe how green the place looks in the weekly pictures this week.

James: You were our guide in 2011. We think fondly about our stay at Londolozi and love seeing your photos. Keep up the good work, and happy new year. Best wishes.

Hi Peter and Aleta,
Great to hear from you!
Thanks for the New Years wishes; the same to you!
5 years is far too long a time to stay away; maybe it’s time to start planning a return trip…? 😉

Mr James Tyrrell
Hope you are doing ok, do you have information about measurements of Lions of Londolozi, length of the body excluding the tail for males and females, height at the shoulders and weight? I will really appreciate if you can help me with this valuable information.
Regards,
Edouard Paiva

Hi Edouard,
We do not conduct any official scientific lion research on Londolozi, and would need to dart the lions to get exact measurements, so I’m afraid I’m unable to help you there. The vets in the Kruger Park would be the best people to try and get hold of for that kind of thing…

I really enjoy the stories of the African bush that you publish and the knowledge you pass on to your readers. this a great way to educate the world about what is happening and create an interest in African Safaris particularly in South Africa a great holiday destination, I have discovered. Thank you

Love to see all the water. I just saw the blog on the elephants. I love your posts. One of my favorite times at Londo were on private safari with you sitting under a tree photographing Mashaba young female. I ll be back in April. I hope to see you!
