I just returned from my fantastic stay at Londolozi last week (Aug. 18-21) and wanted to share some of photos that I took. I went on six drives and each drive being special. It seemed that I was able to witness many rare events as a first time safari traveler. I don’t know how unusual or unique my experience was, but it just seemed like a dream and I couldn’t believe that each drive had something so memorable. Of course we saw many other animals beside what you see in the below pictures. It was suggested to me that I send some photos to share my experience at Londolozi. I am home now and feel so sad to be far away from where I had such an amazing experience, a once in a lifetime experience. Enjoy…

Herd of elephants winding their way through the river where they are often seen at this time of year with it being so dry elsewhere.

A great motion blur shot of the Tu Tones Male leopard walking past the vehicle and looking up at the guests

The last of the big cats to be seen at Londolozi – the cheetah and her two cubs having just finished feeding.

Rhinos are known for their very poor eyesight and will most likely hear something before seeing it. Here you can see these four rhino trying to work out where the noise is coming from.
Love the elephants. Can’t wait to get back to Londolozi in November!
Lovely thanks Michaela for sharing these with Kate & us. Beautiful – I love the giraffe in the Sunset!
Michaela your photos are exceptional. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Awesome set of photographs, well done!
