Fred and Cathleen Eldridge stayed with us last month and, after receiving only one or two of Fred’s pictures via Facebook, I knew that we needed more to share with you all on the blog! They enjoyed a private vehicle with ranger Jess Boon and tracker, Jeff Mhlongo and by the looks of things, they had some wonderful sightings. Enjoy this week’s guest footage…

Elephants are wonderfully social animals and here you can see two of them embracing in a ‘trunk lock’.

Giraffes cannot keep their head down for too long, as they will pass out from too much blood running to their head so it must’ve taken a quick reaction for Fred to get his great picture!

One of the Majingilane males make their way behind another Londolozi vehicle, do you think the other guests are a little nervous?!

Even though these cubs are growing up so quickly, they still show us their wonderfully playful manner.

Brilliant photography, thank you!
Lovely-looks like you had a wonderful time. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Fred & Kate for the write-up & those fantastic pictures! Sunset & croc are my choice for today, little ellie ending up face to the dirt & bum in the air – imagine whats going through his head?? 🙂
Thanks again for sharing.
Fred, great job on capturing some wonderful photos.
WOW! This is an absolutely outstanding gallery of images. I cant help but smile at the image of the baby elephant tumbling off his feet. The Majingilane portraits are also beautiful. Well done!!!
Wonderful images! On an unrelated topic, who is the Nanga Female who is being mentioned in the sightings of late?
Hi Shardool,
She is the Manyaleti young female from the Northern section of Londolozi, she was born not far from where she is spending a lot of time now. Up until the last few weeks, she was more often seen North of our border and we are very happy to be seeing more of her.
Kindest regards,
Kate
