At Londolozi we specialize in freshly squeezed juices. The Londolozi kitchen is fortunate to have a seriously hot juice squeezer, however, you can use a high speed blender for the softer fruits eg. Melons, pineapples etc, should you wish to make your own fresh juice at home.
This green juice is comprised of Apple, Celery, Spinach, Cucumber, Basil & Mint Juice and is just the most incredible juice to have in the morning! Many people will add Wheat Grass to this as well and just have a small shot of it, however, I like to have a large glass each morning.
We alternate this juice daily on the buffet and I give the trackers a small shot of it at 6am each morning so they can be energized for their morning drive! They love it!
It is a very healthy way to introduce some celery to your diet as it is low in Saturated Fat, and very low in Cholesterol. It is also a good source of Riboflavin, Vitamin B6, Pantothenic Acid, Calcium, Magnesium and Phosphorus, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Potassium and Manganese
To garnish the glass, use a stick of celery. Do not be shocked if the juice separates as it will! Use your celery stick to stir it up again.
**Anna’s Tip – keep the cucumbers for after you have juiced the spinach as these flush all the spinach juice through the juicer!**
