As I am South African one of my most favourites tea time treats is milk tart. Those little milk tarts of Kent are absolutely device. The chiffon cake is just as good.

Thank you Marinda, I take that as a great compliment – South African’s know best when it comes to milk tart! 🙂 All the best, hope to see you soon.

I absolutely LOVE Kent’s milk tarts…the carrot cake is great too…and the chocolate chiffon cake. I loved them all! The freshly baked banana muffins for breakfast each morning were a real treat too and it was so funny watching the Vervet monkeys racing across the Tree Camp deck one morning and trying to take the platter of muffins with them. Such great food and great memories.

Thank you Jill, it is wonderful to hear that you enjoyed the cakes. Those muffins are also very delicious – glad to hear that even the monkeys agree! 🙂

Oh my greatness Kent! How can you tell us all about all these wonderful sweetmeats & no recipes or are they secret? I’m curious what are the little blue things on the cupcakes & what are Madeline’s, there must be something inside?? Thanks Amanda & Kate for the stunning pictures. Have a lovely tasteful week

Hi Wendy, we thought that we would share a small taste of what you can expect to whet your appetite. The little blue things are lavender petals and Madeline’s are sweet citrus cakes.
