1986 was the first year David and I went on safari; but 1992; our first visit to Londolozi, was the trip that changed our lives. The proximity of the animals, the excellence of the guiding staff, the amazing lodging; we became “addicted”. Twenty-six years and numerous visits to Londolozi later, we are still excited and mesmerized by this amazing place. We do have other passions…golf, philanthropy, photography, and travel. However, Africa - the people and the wildlife - have become part of our souls. We agree with Ernest Hemingway who said “I never knew of a morning I woke up in Africa and was not happy” and, without question, some of those happiest mornings have been at Londolozi.
