Julia grew up in Cape Town and from a very young age, nearly every school holiday was spent off-road, exploring Southern Africa. After graduating as a Speech Therapist at the University of Cape Town she was lucky enough to explore northern KZN during her community service year, where her interest in birding came to life. After working in private hospitals for several years, she felt an environmental change was on the cards, and following her love for the bush, started working in the office space at Londolozi.
