My wild self is smelling Africa and feeling the breeze. Looking forward to whatever is round the corner and anticipating life whatever it may bring
A beautiful video.
Being in the wilderness, in nature is certainly the most important, exciting and gratifying experiences one can have.
Life in (especially) big cities takes away the awareness that we are one part of the earth, maybe the universe and disconnects people from their relatives, the animals.
Time to go to a place like Londolozi to reestablish this connection.
The wild self is for me a place of stillness, awe , safety in nature. A sense of belonging to something greater and encompassing ,where l feel held.
Over seven visits to Londolozi, I have believed that I belong there, that I know this place. Now I realize it has been my Wild Self awakening.
My wild self is allowing my sense to awaken and explore my surroundings no matter where I am because my wild self is always with me just not always present in the moment.
My wild self, my original face, even before my grandparents were born.
