Wow James! Incredible! It must be the sighting of the year. Amazing video.

Wow, James, that was incredibly exciting! I would have loved to have witnessed that. The strength of the male lion is unbelievable. That poor kudu didn’t have a prayer. I do imagine that the young hyena headed back to the den with some stories to tell! ?

back at work James ?
What a great but sad sighting .
Enjoy the end of the year and good luck for 2018, as well as for Cath and those that remember us

What an awesome story – and so well told, James!! I felt I was there!

Incredible sighting!! Thanks for sharing the video

Wow! That is unbelievable. Knowing how lions don’t really like being immersed in water, the taking of the Kudu had to have been the highlight of your guests’ day. Super photos.

Simply amazing!! What a fantastic sighting. Well done James and Rich and Grant!! Lucky, lucky guests!!

James, What an amazing sighting! We have yet to see the Birmingham males on our visits, but can see that they are a formidable bunch! We have never heard of lions “dining” in the water! Great video!

WOW!!!

Just WOW! Hard to top that sighting! B-Boys are expanding their territory.

WOW!!!! James, incredible! Even better than spotting 49, ahem, I mean 50 lions in one visit! Thanks for sharing!

Incredible video ! I’m surprised the male did not sit back and let the females make the kill for him or wait for the kudu to leave the water. He is a very bold male. Had crocs or hippos occupied that waterhole things may have been a bit different. Awesome footage here of one one very bold and determined lion.

Absolutely incredible sighthing, it’s so rare to see lions making a kill in water!! Seems like the Birmingham males are continueing to establish themselves on Londolozi!
