It is a known fact that cats, in general, are not big fans of water. This is even more so in the wild as, generally speaking, water is an incredibly dangerous place for an animal of any kind to be around, as they have the fear of what may be lurking in the darkness. So, with this in mind, to see any of our cats (lions or leopards) walking across the river is a phenomenal sighting to behold! Rangers wait years to see a crossing and when it happens there is a lot of excitement and showing off of pictures that goes on afterwards in the rangers room! So when ranger, Dean Smithyman, got back from drive, head hanging low, only to tell us that his camera had run out of battery we were all, needless to say, very disappointed! What none of us knew at this stage was that there were Londolozi guests who would come to the reascue! This Londolozi guest, Colin Toomer, was kind enough to share some of his wonderful pictures of this sighting with us…Enjoy!
