It is with such full happy hearts that we can say that South Africa has been removed from the UK’s Red List.
We are back to being open for UK travelers who wish to visit Londolozi.
With vaccinations rolling out all over the county, even here in the “wilder” part of South Africa, you will find an almost fully vaccinated Londolozi family. For a long time, we have been ready, and finally, the United Kingdom agrees too!
As of 11 October, 2021 fully vaccinated travelers can move with ease between the borders without needing to quarantine upon their return home to the UK – making it possible for a quick safari getaway at anytime.
So here’s an idea…Why not chase an endless summer?
If we have learned anything during the past 18 months, it is that ‘life is for the living’. Seize every moment and make every day count. In that case we will see you for lunch right?
You can now decide, at the last minute, to go on a spontaneous safari adventure to get away from it all. With ease, simplicity and just a few clicks, you can travel overnight from London to Londolozi arriving with seamless connections through the SA Airlink daily service. You’ll arrive just in time for lunch at one of our camps followed by an afternoon game drive.
After all is said and done and your feet meet the African soil, the warm summer sunshine will warm your face and you will sink into the deep knowing that there is nowhere else in the world that knows how to look after you like the Londolozi family does.
We invite you to come on a quick safari getaway to a place where we will personalize your sacred time, a place where the leopards of Londolozi roam abundantly and a place where you can truly feel the difference in how a family-run business cares about your health, happiness and holiday time…
We know how so many of you based in the UK, part of our global Londolozi Family, have been waiting… and so have we.
Well Bronwyn, I am hugely looking forward to coming home for lunch at Founders on 15th November! (barring any other disasters). I’ve postponed this trip so many times now I’ve lost count, and after the previous UK travel review I was at the point of postponing again. But then I started to hear rumours, promising meetings between our governments etc and dared to hope – but not too much, until it was confirmed on Thursday. My excitement at the thought of making my 11th trip to Londolozi is now completely off the wall!
We are thrilled that South Africa is finally off the red list for Uk travellers and we are booked to return next June after we had to delay our trip this October. Cant wait !
Bron, We wish it was just as easy for us to get there from the US right now! We’re so glad to hear that things are starting to open up for you and can’t wait for our next visit to your magical kingdom!
Hi Bronwyn we are happy that the borders are open from the U.K. I am sure Londolozi will be fully booked soon, after having been closed for so long. The guests from London will get pampering , delicious food ,good sightings of the animals and the cleanest air to breathe in. Friendly staff, Rangers and guides that will show you around. What more could a person ask for.
Wish it was that easy from San Francisco-we’d be there tomorrow! Enjoy!
A wonderful, welcoming invitation to lunch for your UK audience that would certainly convince me to book if I lived there.
How does SA Airlink get to Londolozi? Via Nelspruit or Skukuza? And then how does one get from there to lunch in time for a delicious 1926 burger???
Bronwyn, such good news and I know you will all be over the moon and welcome your guests from across the pond. A nice invitation to lunch also. You deserve to once more have the place humming with safari goers and I am so happy for you all. Thanks for your blog.
Good news for Londolozi and the safari industry in general that some of the borders have come down by now.
Let’s hope that most of the problems with that virus will soon be over for good.
Congratulations! Well done!
