Jemma, a great blog. Thank you.

Hi Jemma, the picture of the giraffe looking into the car makes me burst into laughter! Too special! And the aloe, so much exploited and brought to extinction almost, over there returning to life! What a time of great memories.!

Hi Jemma, your story on celebrating 100 years of Londolozi and The Kruger National Park is a good read. Lots of information and facts that brings the attention to how long both Londolozi and Kruger started to where we are today. Conservation and community must work together to get the results that is know showing in both places.

Congratulations on 100 years!! Beautiful pictures!! Here’s to 100 more!!

I had no idea the establishment of Kruger National Park coincided with the acquisition of the Sparta property in 1926, leading to tourism by rail a year later. It’s stories like this Jemma that reveal how the Greater Kruger National Park played a part in the establishment of the various private game reserves during the last century by working together to remove fences, allowing for the free movement of animals….. In part, the Varty family and Kruger have seen how conservation can work when owners and communities come together to protect the animals and environment in this magnificent area of South Africa.

I would love to see a series on the history from this period as a video complementing the week in pictures or Sean’s weekly video series

it would be amazing as part of the 100 year celebration

A great blog with all these beautiful photos from long ago and from nowadays.
May Londolozi thrive and with it all the animals there for the next one hundred years!

A very special post, Jemma. Thank you. By the way, what month was it that Londolozi’s light was first lit by the Varty’s?

Happy 100th Londolozi! Emma, any chance Londolozi will make the 100 ball caps that Sean and other rangers wear in the virtual safaris available for purchase? They look awesome and would love to purchase one but understand if they are for the rangers only.

i posted in the comments on his video about the caps , would love to buy some londalozi 100 year merch
