Welcome to the Londolozi family Bryce! You’ll find as time goes on, this path you’ve chosen will not only satisfy your passion for all living things within the natural world but that you’ll find joy and satisfaction in interacting with the staff and guests alike. Well written post, by the way.

Leopards and lions would do the best for many people, including me… a great start, and the Maxim male is such a guy! Fancy how the little soft Three Rivers females cub reminds him

Hi Bryce.Great that you have become a ranger. I would love such a life in the bush and always enjoy my safaris immensely. And the quality of any safari, of course, depends on the ranger and tracker.
So I wish you all the best for your interesting future at Londolozi.
By the way, the lion cubs of the Ntsevu pride had mange when I visited, a month ago. Are they still so much affected by it. Or have they even died because of this? Would be very sad.

Hi Bryce, it’s great that you spent that time as a Camp Manager first – I think you’re the 3rd ranger to make that transition? (Garrett and Reece?) “Awe” is the perfect word to describe so much at Londolozi. I am so often awe-struck by a sighting that I don’t know whether to laugh or cry! But I do feel deeply privileged to be there.

Thank you, Bryce, for a lively post. It’s always interesting reading about a person’s path to becoming a ranger. May you sprinkle your drives with the joys of spotting trees, plants, insects and birds along with the big guys.

Hi Bryce, loved reading about your journey… and your passion is tangible. Look forward to reading future posts!
