So many stars! Canada used to have stars like that 40 years ago, now there gone

Thank you Dan for the beautiful pictures and story about fall at LOndolozi. It is a magical time of year.

We often safari at Londolozi in fall/winter. It’s a magical time of the year – comfortable temperatures, golden vegetation that make animal sightings easier and cozy evening fires. So much fun!

So beautiful to see the stars in the night sky, the illumination of the stars is magical. Autumn season brings different views of the animals as the grass will be shorter. Crisp mornings look so beautiful with the sun rise coming up and the cool air makes it majestically beautiful.

Well done Dan! Coming up on our favorite time of the year there at Londolozi!

As a repeat Autumn visitor, I find the cooler mornings a great way to begin the day, especially taking in those spectacular sunrises while wrapped in a warm blanket. The stars seem to be more prolific and brighter whilst the animal sightings are phenomenal. I’m curious that no one writes about spring, September/October, and what to expect. Are the days warmer, is there much rain, are the hues still muted…?

A really poetic description of safari in winter time and beautiful photos.
The sky full of stars is so amazing.

I, for one, am looking forward to seeing the beautiful sunsets of your winter, while basking in the morning sunshine of our summers. 🧡
