The big cats feature strongly this week, with the Nkuhuma pride bringing down a giraffe, a leopard found just as it takes down an impala, and of course the highlight, two tiny leopard cubs at their den…
A bit of rainy weather was had, which shows that the season is starting to swing; temperatures are rising, trees are coming into flower, and the overall look and feel of the bush is going to change dramatically over the coming weeks.

So fabulous to see these videos again, but especially the elephant/hyenas encounter. It was almost as though the elephant was trying to chase the hyenas away from Tsalala’s kill. Animal behavior is so fascinating and always presents us with a surprise when we least expect it.
What a video! Mind Blown! Those smooshy little Leopard cubs 😊 and lets hope the Tsalala pride actually gets to keep a meal soon. Thanks for another great week!
Good grief, you’ve done it again, what an amazing video! Despite huge opposition, the Makomsava female and her cubs has to be the highlight for me. I saw her 1 year ago on my last morning drive, hoping to see her again when I come back to Founders in February.
