The name Rita Shaw is one that most of our blog followers with recognise as she has not only been an avid blog follower and long time Londolozi guest, she has once before been featured on the Londolozi blog. It is with good reason that this will be her second post on our blog as on her recent visit she took some more phenomenal shots! I love how the blue and the green from the background bring out the zebra so wonderfully in this picture.
One of the sparta lionesses decided to open her eyes for a short time in order for Rita to get this great shot but it was not long and she was back to sleep.
The morning light has created some great back lighting on this hyena
The wonderful colour of his mane shows so nicely with the dry winter background.
The female cheetah staling through the grass keeping her eye on some impala in front of her.
A great Hammerkop shot on the causeway, overlooking the Sand RIver.
These cubs are growing up so quickly its almost time to start calling them subadults.

There was such wonderful winter light on this male. Rita did really well in getting the glint of light in his eye!
