Really nice series, Teach!! I learned a lot, as usual!

All my photos now loaded; LT work to begin, starting with blog pics. Will be in touch with Kate soon! Looking forward to getting the tube of prints!

Thanks Mary-Beth 🙂 So glad that you found it helpful. I hope that your practice is still going, and that the editing is not creating too much stress 🙂 Looking forward to seeing you and Bob again in the very near future!

Great series Amanda! Thanks for the very helpful lessons and now I need to practice it all. I have a lot to learn but I’m really enjoying trying different things out!

Thanks so much, Jill. So glad that you enjoyed it, and that you are practicing the theory! Keep reading for more photography tips 🙂

Good article, but may I suggest that you also do an article on metering and how the different types work.
I have a wonderful picture of a leopard cub up a tree. All you can see is the branch, the sky and the cub. If I hadn’t used the spot metering-the camera would have taken the sky into account when making it’s calculations and one of the best photos I have taken would barely get a glance.

Hi Ian. Thanks so much for the recommendation- I agree that metering should be the next post, so watch out for it on the blog. It’s another part of photography that can be really daunting if not understood, so let’s shine some light on it 🙂
