September, the beginning of Spring, Blue Skies, the August winds behind us and the launch of our Spring Menu!
All around us, new life is appearing. Flowers, green shoots, leaves and soon the veld will transform from golden brown to green with the first spring and summer rains. Visitors to Londolozi are greeted by young animals and newborns taking their first steps. Around the camp nyala and bushbuck wander looking for the finest greens to eat, accompanied by babies in tow. The first summer migrants will soon be with us. It’s a time of celebration and because of this we are celebrating Spring Day in Style, with only the freshest ingredients, home grown from Londolozi’s own veggie gardens.
The Spring Menu
Anna says: “This Spring, we are concentrating on Freshness, Simplicity, Deliciousness and Sustainability, so when I got a radio call from Chris Goodman yesterday to come and see what he had harvested for me, I was ecstatic as to what I had to work with.
The Londolozi Vegetable gardens inspired by Chris Goodman, and carried out throughout our village, have produced an abundance of fresh rocket, parsley, mint and much more. So, with the first Spring harvest from Chris’s garden, here’s what we are cooking today…
I look forward to sharing some more organic Londolozi Spring Kitchen moments!”
