Once a year it entices the tummy;
It goes with tea, hot cross buns & honey
Hopping and jumping through the bushveld
Its fur is made of a bright pink pelt
Tomorrow morning join your ranger to find the Easter Bunny
These were the wise words given to our guests this year to go out and find the elusive and rare Pink Bunny only to be found on the plains of Londolozi Game Reserve on a particular Sunday in April that follows the Paschal Full Moon.
Finding the pink bunny just off a beaten grass track, it led us to a bush clearing of colour, fun & deliciousness!
Trending colours of bright pink, yellow, blue & green fell from the trees holding White Lanterns. Turquoise Blue SchweSchwe adorned each table with Fresh Pots of Organically grown Basil Plants, Baby Carrots & White Chocolate Eggs
Mango & Lavender Sugar Lassis, Chilli Vodka Bloody Mary’s, Pimms No 1 saturated with Sliced Fruit and an abundance of Fresh Mint, Ice Cold Craft Beers & Refreshing Bubbles were found in “The Buck & Bunny”.
The “Boulangerie” stocked Home baked Croissants, Berry Muffins, Chocolate Muffins and Londolozi’s Famous Cinnamon Rolls alongside “Connie’s Crepes” were a culinary delight.
“Eggstraordinary” moments filled our tummies with Fluffy Scrambled Eggs, Salmon Frittatas & Bacon & Feta Tarts combined with the “Charcuterie” of Star Aniseed infused Honey Glazed Gammons, Chipotle rubbed Chipolatas and Smoky Salamis!
To feed the bunnies “Bunny Food” offered Exotic Mushroom Kebabs sizzling in Garlic & Herb Butter and Camembert Cheeses stuffed with Carrot & Raisin Chutneys right next to “Fabulous Fruits” laden with Juicy Watermelons, Bowls of Ridiculously Red Strawberries and Fruit Skewers, were all there to graze on.
No good Easter is complete without a serious Chocolate overload!
Lindt Bunnies, Marshmallows with Chocolate Dipping Sauce, White Eggs, Speckled Eggs, Marshmallow eggs – who could ask for more!
As the last bunny hopped into the distance, it’s tummy was full, it’s mind happy with the memories of yet another great day at Londolozi
Have a fantastic day wherever you are around the world.
With Much Love,
The Londolozi Family.
