We love you Dean! 🙂 I know he’s being tongue-in-cheek. Hope we see you in February? Erin and Brian

What a fantastic tribute to Dean and Elmon. We spent 7 glorious days with this pair and it is a memory of a lifetime! The video brought tears to my eyes because it was so spot on accurate. Dean and Elmon are individually incredible, unique people and together, they are the dream team. They love the land and the animals and share that love and knowledge with guests. So much information and no question goes unanswered. “What do you want to see today?” “Oh…. OK…..haven’t seen any in a while ….. sure…we’ll find them.” Yep….they found them! Dean and Elmon provided every single sighting on our list, including finding lots of babies! I missed spending time with these two immediately upon my departure.
Sorry, James, but Dean’s sense of humor is part of his charm….and Elmon is right there in cahoots with him in torturing you! Miss you guys!

It is the tracker/ranger teams that make Londolozi so special. While I love to show off my 1538 pictures that I took when I was there.. it is the stories that Tom and Jerry shared about the land, the animals and the people that I just can’t explain to my friends as we go through my photos. The photo’s at the end of your Safari are just the benefactor of the stories and lessons. While my trip to Londolozi was my first safari… I don’t think I will ever go anywhere else.. Thank you Tom and Jerry for making my dreams come true.

I know pangolins are the holy grail for a lot of rangers, but me, I’d take the Mapogos and Majingilanes and Camp Pan Male any time ! 😉 (Especially Makulu, my most favourite ever lion).

When I was a young boy and spending as much time in the bush as possible. I would watch John Varty and Elmons leapard movies over and over and remember saying one day I want to be like that. I have always wanted to see elmon track and do his magic. Great that your dream came true Dean. I will be visiting londolozi oneday.

How could anyone not like Dean? Congrats on a great spotting. Please say hello to Talley and Freddie for us. We spent 5 great days with them in March during the “Mary Karma” experience.

We miss Londolozi and Dean and Elmon! I’ve been trying to come up with a way to return to Londolozi and never leave. It was the trip of a lifetime and I’m forever changed by the beauty. I love checking in to see what is going on. Thanks for a wonderful blog.
Best,
Leah, Brian, and Raj

I had the great fortune of spending 3 days with Elmon and Dean last December. The sheer awesomeness of that experience with them brought me right back to Londolozi in August and likely hooked me on an annual safari for life. In August Elmon came out and picked me up when i was out in the bush and I thought wow, here I am out the in bush just me and THE Elmon Mhlongo how cool is that??

Awesome film and i agree with Lynn above, it captures both of them perfectly. The ranger/tacker teams really do make what Londolozi an even more amazing experience.

Proud to be a fellow ex-banker,
Rod
