Lived on US Virgin island of St Croix for 40 years. Together with my husband we discovered and restored an 18 c sugar plantation lost and abandoned in the rainforest for 100 years. We wrote a book on our experience entitled “Estate Mt Washington; The Discovery and Restoration of a Lost Plantation “ In the process of building a lake on our other property -on Orcas Island, WA in San Juan Island chain, we discovered the most complete bison antiquus skull ever found....radio carbon dated to 14,000 years..(top 10 scientific finds in world in 2009-Science Magazine)
