Born and bred in Nelspruit, Michael is familiar with the Lowveld and Bushveld surroundings. The bush has always been a comfortable environment for him and a space that he prefers to be in. After completing his studies at Stellenbosch University in financial accounting, Michael did not hesitate in accepting the opportunity as financial manager of Londolozi as of May 2021. With the abundance of knowledge around him, Michael is interested in improving his knowledge on the bush in an all-round sphere, with specific interest in birding.
