As mentioned in Part I of my radial filter tutorial, I like to deconstruct my photo into two parts: the subject and the background/foreground. In my previous post, I showed you how to use the radial filter to edit the foreground and background to draw your eye towards your subject. In this tutorial I will show you how to use the filter to edit your subject.

Thanks Kylie for those useful tips (I watched all your tutorials tonite). I recently started with LR and have applied some of your techniques on my Londolozi shots. I have one question – are you only using LR or are you also using Photoshop and if so when do you suggest to use what? Just wondering.

Thanks for the comments. Kylie’s not in right now but I know she uses almost exclusively Lightroom for her editing. It tends to be a far simpler program to use, and as Kylie has a high volume of photos to edit here, it serves her needs a bit better.
