Stunning pics this week. The violet backed starling is my favourite. Love the lion pics.

It was a pleasure reviewing the activity at Londolozi this week. I send rain wishes your way!

Thanks Joanne, we received 35mm two days ago so the bush is vibrant and buzzing!

Wonderful photographs sharing the life around Londolozi

Beautiful photos! I cannot pick a favorite! Loved the hyenas mating, the beautiful bird, the comical elephant with the sand streak on his face, the lion reflection, as I said I loved them all! I did notice on the wonderful close-up of the old male lion’s teeth a dot on the top left canine. Maybe it is just an errant seed that came off a carcass, but it almost looks like it is implanted in the tooth. Any idea what that is? Thanks for sharing everyone’s photos, Amy!

An absolutely incredible collaboration!!!! Am really glad to hear that the rains have arrived, along with the woodland kingfishers too!

I have to say that my absolute favourite is the cover photo, the light and landscape in combition with such an elusive cat as a cheetah is just breathtaking. Almost looks like a glimpse into the past. I’ve also never seen a photo of hyena’s mating before, can’t wait to read about that sighting!! Also loved the photo of the buffalo and the hippo’s, the white rhino’s (love that blue light), the panorama and the kudu bull!

Beautiful photos again this week. Great catch of the suckling giraffe, as well as the yawning lion. We just received a 24 hour rainstorm that dropped 3.5” inches of rain at my house – wishing you all more rain like this so everyone can thrive in the bush.

Hi Have you seen matimba males?
Why they don’t come and help tsalala?

Hi Ethan. No, we have not seen the Matimba males for months. They left their territory a while back for unknown reasons and as a result have left the Tsalala Pride very vulnerable. Many thanks, Amy

Beautiful! See you next week, Amy!!!!❤️❤️❤️
