Great to see both Airstrip and Piva, two beautiful looking males.
Any news on the Matimba males? Thanks.

Ezequiel they have been continuing to spend a lot of time close to the Londolozi camps, crossing to both sides of the river. They have pursued the Tsalala young males once or twice recently, but as week the pride was at full strength again – all 7 members together!

Thanks for the pics James! That lightning shot is incredible. Is the Sparta male still with the Mhangeni pride?

Hi Mike,

It looks like it; 4 young males were there when we saw them. The pride has been splitting up quite regularly as at least two of the females are believed to be denning, but at last count the young Sparta male was with them.

Thank you James. The Piva male looks quite exhausted 🙂 I also love the fish-eye pic of the storm, I hope you got some well deserved rain? The pictures this week are stunning thank you. Have a great weekend

All great shots James! I’m happy to hear that the Tsalala pride is reunited and that the Sparta male is still doing well with the Mhangeni pride. I think the Tamboti Young female looks a little thin…is it her age or is she struggling a bit? You captured great images of Mashaba’s cub and she looks great! I also love the storm picture.

I love the last photo of the Mashaba Female’s cub.
