One of the greatest contributions we can make towards Big Cat conservation is in the telling of their stories. Through the use of various media, we are able to convey to a global community the lives that these cats live. Text, photography and film are powerful tools and we try to use a mixture of these to raise awareness and educate. It is only once people see the images and read the stories about the beautiful cats that will they understand them, and only once they understand them, will they make any attempt to save them.
However, as anyone who has spent time in the wilderness will know, this is much more easily said than done. Here, in the depths of the Pantanal, finding jaguars is hard enough, let alone recording and showcasing their daily lives.
The jaguar habituation team, here in Brazil, has managed to capture numerous wonderful moments both on camera and on film. Over the last few days we have been editing a rather dramatic short video on the jaguars that we, at Projeto Onçafari, are currently viewing and in the midst of habituating.
I invite you to sit back, relax and soak it in. If you enjoy it I ask you to please share it around and show it to your friends.

Hello Adam, they are indeed beautiful cats & seem bigger than our leopards? but it looks like you have to really search for them, whereas at Londolozi, they are like Impala?? 🙂
Thanks for sharing
Are you permanently based in the Pantanal or will you return to Londolozi one day?
Regards
Amazing footage! Amazing animal sightings, I liked the low angle of the “antbear” looking creature! Keep up the good work Adam.
