The Avoca male lions bellow in full chorus on a glorious evening. Giraffes abound, hyenas sniff the breeze, little bee-eaters prove to be great photographic subjects, and rainy conditions makes tracking a little bit harder.

Loved the sound of the bee eaters while you were videoing the giraffe 💕. Such a shame they will start to head back this way as they get massacred in Lebanon, Cyprus and of course the rest of the Med. They are supposed to be protected here in Malta but we have witnessed hunters taking them down as they migrate through the islands. Enjoyed time spent with them and the other birds 👌🏻Always a pleasure to hear the lions roaring..fabulous shot of them drinking in the spot light. Thanks as always James. Love the variety🙏🏻
Beautiful landscape and wonderful photos of all the animals, especially the Little Bee -eaters and the other birds. I wonder: if a bird like that male hornbill is so inefficient in feeding the female, will she perish?

I loved the roaring lions and can just imagine being nearby would have been a great impact on a person. Little bea-eaters are so beautiful in colour and love the way they catch their prey. They come back to the same place , you said it is called hawking. Wow then you can take such wonderful foto’s of them. The squirrel was also so cute and so quick to move round and about. Lovely video James

I’m happy to see that nature is thriving in Londolozi and this new leopard dynamics are really interesting!
Another wonderful virtual safari! While all the video vignettes were excellent (the roaring Avocas were astonishing!), for me the birds take the week. The long tail males are majestic, the hornbill always a fav, but the big winner is the bee eaters!
