It was 2001. Right after 9/11 when I first visited Londolozi. The experiences (land, sky, animals, birds, reptiles, humans) are UNFORGETABLE. I have so much gratitude to the Londolozi family for ALL that you do for South Africa (and lessons that go beyond). Visit four will be in September. A stop at the rondavels will definitely be high on my list. Until then, happy new year, happy 100!

A great article on Londolozi, a special year of celebrating this place where nature still has rights ahead of everybody.
I wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year full of celebrations of a hundred years of Londolozi.
I am looking forward to joining in in a few months time and I wish you another wonderful century of the great work you all are doing there.

What a wonderful reflection on Londolozi the past year and previous years. Dave you have said it all so absolutely perfectly. Conservation is the backbone and nature comes first. May you and your family have a blessed Christmas and a prosperous, celebration New Year. Your family have built Londolozi to the renowned Safari lodge, world renowned to what it is today. Well done and congratulations on 100 year existing of Londolozi.

First visit to Londolozi was in 1983. Since then (starting in 2010) I’ve visited 7 times. Sadly at age 90 I won’t make it back for the 2026 birthday celebrations. Keep care of my heart,, please. It lives at Londolozi.

Well said, Dave – Londolozi is truly in safe and caring hands. I’m already looking forward to taking part in your centenary celebrations in November, though I can’t imagine how you can make it even more special than it already is!

Thank you. Your film perfectly captures the spirit of Londolozi and my family felt humbled and privileged to again share it with you all last October. Wishing you continued success in your anniversary year.

I’m so grateful to have been a part of Londolozi, even if years ago and only for a few days. I know there will be a day when I return, and I can’t wait to feel home again. Your leadership and vision is inspirational, and I know it will have an even greater ripple effect in the century to come. Congratulations.

Brilliant Londolozi – the memories of our long ago stays will remain forever in our hearts and minds. Makorokoto on your 100th anniversary!

Thank you, as always, for your year end reflections, in part a reminder that we all can make a difference by living conservation daily and creating our own ripple effect. I have no doubt that Londolozi’s next hundred years will be in good hands, in tune with the land and people that have contributed to restoration and Ubuntu. I’m looking forward to celebrating my own milestone celebration next year, and whilst not a centenary, I will be there in a few months to help celebrate yours. Wishing all of the Londolozi family a blessed holiday season.

Dave,
We look forward to each update you share and to hearing about the remarkable accomplishments unfolding across so many different fronts. Your vision, dedication, and spirit continue to inspire us—professionally, personally, and in the way we see the world.
We feel truly blessed to know you and your family. Your leadership, your generosity of heart, and the way you lift up everyone around you have made a lasting impact on us, and on so many others fortunate enough to spend time in your orbit.
Thank you for continuing to light the way. You remain an extraordinary inspiration to us—and to all who have had the privilege of sharing time with you and your family.
Happy Holidays to our Londolozi family, and we WILL see you in 2026!
