Love this article! My hubs & I are staying in the Granite Suites in September for our 25 year anni. I love these special / exclusive perks and wish londolozi could offer a similar package for special anniversaries too : )

Hi Jemma, everything you have written in this blog is a romance honeymoon to die for. What else can a person ask for than what you have already mentioned. To be in nature and with the person you love is the ultimate honeymoon, seeing the animals in their natural environment and having your own personal Ranger and Tracker show you around and have all the pampering you can have to make you feel a million dollars. Londolozi is the ideal place for a honeymoon love adventure.

When we realized we could make my African safari dreams come true for the same cost as an average American wedding, it was a no brained. We eloped in a minuscule garden ceremony and 18 months later we were off for a 12 day honeymoon adventure to the Winelands, Londolozi (the highlight for sure) and Victoria Falls. I never thought we’d be able to make that trip a reality, and now that we have, I can’t imagine not coming back. Hopefully I’ll be returning for my 40th birthday in two years. Fingers crossed!

Jemma, It’s way to late for our honeymoon, but you have me convinced for our 50th wedding anniversary, not that far away! ❤ Sounds perfect.

Honeymoons, special anniversaries or birthdays, South Africa offers some of the best options for a true adventure. Your descriptive blog could convince the most leery couple that South Africa offers the perfect honeymoon! Skip the fancy wedding that costs $$$$$$, and opt for a more intimate ceremony, and spend your budget on a really special lifetime adventure.
However, saying this, as a single 65+ adult, this is the the trip that appealed to me for my first South African experience, vineyards + safari, and has kept me returning again and again. A trip to South Africa is a must for anyone who loves to travel, dipping their minds and soul into a world of sensory experiences.

Jemma, We couldn’t agree more! We have celebrated birthdays and anniversaries at Londolozi over the years and have recommended a Londolozi/South Africa honeymoon to friends who took us up on the idea and absolutely loved it! Granite Suites are the best!!!
